Sehr geehrter Herr Nesvadba!
Bezug nehmend auf Ihre Anfrage erlaubt Ihnen die Direktion des Allgemeinen Verwaltungs-, Finanz- und Hofkammerarchivs mitzuteilen, dass eine Durchsicht der zu Ihrer Fragestellung in Betracht kommenden Archiveinheiten im hier verwahrten Bestand Präsidiale des Ministeriums des Innern, Sign. 43 „Auszeichnungen“, für den Jahrgang 1894 kein Ergebnis erbrachte. Wir können Ihnen die Durchführung einer kostenpflichtigen Recherche für das Jahr 1895 anbieten, wobei das Bearbeitungsentgelt dafür gemäß Benutzungsordnung des Österreichischen Staatsarchivs 45,- Euro je angefangener halben Stunde Bearbeitungszeit beträgt.
Die Recherche wird nach Einlangen (Post, Fax, E-Mail) Ihres unterfertigten Recherche-Auftrages (s. Beilagen) begonnen. Das Ergebnis wird Ihnen sodann schriftlich zusammen mit der Kostenaufstellung und dem Hinweis auf unsere Bankverbindung übermittelt. Etwaige Porto- und Versandspesen werden dabei gesondert ausgewiesen.

Het lijkt mij fantastisch formeel Duits en ik moet het een paar keer lezen om p’sies te achterhalen wat er gesteld wordt. Het komt er in het bericht volgens mij op neer dat er niets gevonden is onder de naam ‘Nesvadba’. Althans, in het jaar 1894. Hmmm, ik dacht toch echt te hebben aangegeven dat de betreffende foto inderdaad van 1894 was, maar dat dat niet per se betekent dat de eventuele uitreiking óók in dat jaar plaats zou moeten hebben gevonden. Bovendien is voor mij op dit moment 1894 als jaar ook niet 100% zeker. Met andere woorden: ik zie ruimte om nogmaals een verzoek te doen, ditmaal iets meer SMART opgesteld.
Hun antwoord dáárop volgt op 19 oktober.

With reference to your e-mail we wish to communicate to you that the answer to written inquiries is liable to fees in accordance with the user regulations of the Austrian State Archives. The payment amounts to 45,- euro for every half hour. That applies also in the case of a negative search result.
For your inquiry the index volumes 11 and 13 of Kanzlei des Franz Joseph Ordens would have to be examined, a work requiring approximately one hour of research.
Please, let us know whether you are interested under these circumstances in a treatment of your inquiry and which would be the maximum of time (and costs) to be spent on it. Charges as well as search result would then be sent to you after completion of the work.
Scans from the documents cost 7.- euro and will be send via wetransfer to you.
